First, a note of passing for the GFBL. The GFBL was a players league using OOTP, where people could just join and have a player created, allowing them to sign contracts and all that. It was pretty cool, and I GMed there for a while, which was odd because you actually had to deal with real people and their bitchiness instead of AI.
I’ve been looking at getting an electric razor for a while now, off and on. Last time it was because I shaved my goatee and it just seemed easier to have to buzz around there instead of taking an extra few minutes in the shower. More recently, it’s because I have a M3 razor, and in Target, four blades are $9.99.
Holy crap, dude.
So even going to the local BJs saw 16 blades going for $32.99 – still over $2 a blade. But I didn’t want to shell out $80+ for an electric, especially with the mixed results I see them getting. Then, someone on the TotalFark forums reminds me of something I should have thought of earlier.
eBay.
32 blades, and I’ve got a bid of $35 on them, plus $5 shipping. So, pretty much for the same amount I was going to pay for them ($33 + 8.75% tax = $35.89), I’ll get almost twice as many blades.
That’s almost fair.
