First, a note of pass­ing for the GFBL. The GFBL was a play­ers league using OOTP, where peo­ple could just join and have a player cre­ated, allow­ing them to sign con­tracts and all that. It was pretty cool, and I GMed there for a while, which was odd because you actu­ally had to deal with real peo­ple and their bitch­i­ness instead of AI.

I’ve been look­ing at get­ting an elec­tric razor for a while now, off and on. Last time it was because I shaved my goa­tee and it just seemed eas­ier to have to buzz around there instead of tak­ing an extra few min­utes in the shower. More recently, it’s because I have a M3 razor, and in Tar­get, four blades are $9.99.

Holy crap, dude.

So even going to the local BJs saw 16 blades going for $32.99 — still over $2 a blade. But I didn’t want to shell out $80+ for an elec­tric, espe­cially with the mixed results I see them get­ting. Then, some­one on the Total­Fark forums reminds me of some­thing I should have thought of earlier.

32 blades, and I’ve got a bid of $35 on them, plus $5 ship­ping. So, pretty much for the same amount I was going to pay for them ($33 + 8.75% tax = $35.89), I’ll get almost twice as many blades.

That’s almost fair.
